As part of their educational and tourist tour of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ajloun Cable Car hosted a student delegation from the Faculty of Law at Al-Quds University in the State of Palestine, in cooperation with the Pioneer Center for Human Rights Training and Studies. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the tourist landmarks of Ajloun Governorate and to the activities offered by Ajloun Cable Car as one of Jordan's distinctive tourism products.
Eng. Tareq Al-Maaytah, Director of Ajloun Cable Car, welcomed the Palestinian student delegation and praised the importance of such visits in supporting educational tourism, saying: "We are proud that Ajloun Cable Car is part of this educational experience, and we look forward to strengthening cooperation with educational institutions in other countries to offer a tourism experience that combines knowledge and enjoyment.
Ms. Rania Hadadin, head of the Pioneer Center for Human Rights Training and Studies, expressed her pleasure in organising the visit, which in addition to the students included Dr. Najah, assistant dean for quality at the Faculty of Law at Al-Quds University; Lina Zalatimo, legal adviser to the Human Rights and Civil Society Department of the PLO; and Ahmad Hammo, community development programme manager at the Qudsuna Foundation for Empowerment and Development. She stressed the importance of field experience for students in learning about human values and human rights in different cultural and tourism contexts: "This tour is an ideal opportunity to introduce the students to Jordan's heritage and natural landmarks, strengthening their sense of belonging and enriching their understanding of human rights from a comprehensive perspective.
They stressed the importance of educational and tourism partnerships between the two brotherly countries in deepening students' understanding of human rights and the impact of sustainable tourism on local development. The tour also included a cable car ride, giving the students the chance to enjoy the stunning nature and the mountain views the area is famous for.
