The “Castle Pond” path takes you on an exciting and distinctive journey starting at the cable car station, passing next to Al-Khader Hill -Peace be upon him- which is an important archaeological site with a rich history. The path extends through the foothills of the square, giving participants stunning views of the Valley of Mills. Lastly, the path ends with a stop at the Citadel Pool, which is considered a prominent Roman archaeological site.
The forests along both sides of the path are distinguished by oaks, maples and hawthorns trees, adding an atmosphere of beauty and magic to the journey. The path has an easy difficulty level, making it suitable for everyone regardless of their fitness level. The trip takes about two hours, giving participants enough time to enjoy the natural and historical sights.
