Ajloun Castle

Ajloun Castle that also known as Salah Aldeen Castle is one of the significant castles in Jordan that was established by the Ayyubia leader Ezz Aldeen Osama in 1148 AD (580 HD), it is located in Jordan – Ajloun city on the top of Ouf mountain that overlooking Al-Yabis, Rajib, and Kafranja valleys. It was constructed to keep an eye on Crusader movements and prevent their forces from spreading throughout Ajloun. Its strategic location is important because it controls the transportation routes between southern Jordan and Syria
